CM-03: CompuServe Specific Programs/Utilities
AutoSig
Buerg, Vernon
$0
#7152/0034
is a communications program written specifically for use on the CIS SIGs. When
you run ATO, a menu of SIG options appears, when you select one, such as
downloading messages, ATO automatically calls up CIS, logs on, goes to the
selected SIG, performs the selected task, and logs off.
Once you are off-line and CIS's $10+/hour meter is shut off, you can read the
messages at your leisure and compose replies using ATO's built-in text editor.
Then you are ready to go back on-line to post your messages, you just press a
key and ATO does the rest. ATO also has the ability to send Email via FAX, MIC
and Internet. It can detect when you have entered a new forum, and will sign
you up as a new member. Not only does ATO make the SIGs easier to use, but
since it does everything automatically faster than you could do it yourself,
it can save you *LOTS* of money.
